REFORMATION – pioneer of sustainable practices

They began by selling vintage clothing out of a small Los Angeles storefront in 2009. They quickly expanded into making their own products with a focus on sustainability. Nowadays, they make effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure and pioneer sustainable practices, focusing on people and progress each step of the way. They have a second-hand corner. Their principal focus is sustainability based on buying less, they work in a 100% carbon-neutral since 2015 and they are a certified Climate Neutral company, and they will be Climate Positive by 2025.

They also track all their clothing’s environmental impact through their internal lifecycle tool, RefScale. The consumer can find it on every product page and it tells how much CO2 and water save by shopping Reformation clothes compared to average clothes in the US.

They publish their sustainability report annually, explaining all the progress done that year related to sustainability and circularity, showing real numbers of the places they produced their clothes, the percentage of CO2 savings and water savings, etc.
